A French sailboat manufacturer since 1989, our La Rochelle shipyard specialises in the construction of 30-45ft (approximately 9-14 metre) fast cruising yachts built of plywood and epoxy.

Whether you are looking for a coastal cruising sailboat, or planning longer open sea trips, such as an Atlantic or Pacific crossing, or even round-the-world sailing, there will always be an RM yacht to match your project.
OUR YACHTS
We are the only shipyard and manufacturer to have built more than 500 monohull sailboats using this material and technique. Needless to say, we know plywood-epoxy inside-out.
The material’s benefits are numerous: lightness and stiffness for increased performance under sail, and a dry and sane interior atmosphere, thanks to its thermal and acoustic properties. Environmental impact is also reduced compared to materials usually found in yacht construction, including fibreglass, polyester resins and so on.
CONCEPT
Different keel and rudder options (fin keel, twin keel and lifting-keel, plus single or twin rudder) are offered. RM Yachts are customisable, including hull colour and interior design.
